My darling babies plus she stamps blog giveaway

Good evening everyone!

Hope you've had a lovely day and your weekend is going superb!

Thanks once again for your kind comments about my work. I'm not very good at thinking my work is worth anything , I guess I do it because I enjoy it which is the main thing.

You are all special and very kind and all of your work is fab!

This is just a quick post and no challenges today . I just wanted to show you a small scrap book I did of my babies (my cats) lol which I did via a software programme on the PC called Serif.

Hope you like?

I'm working on a project at the moment which will take a few days. I'm hoping it comes out ok. When it's done I will show you on my blog. (fingers crossed) lol.

Also this fab blog called She Stamps is having a belated birthday candy giveaway. Please pay her a visit and also take a look at her blog as she has some awesome projects! Link below

Have a fantastic weekend.

Many hugs

Hi Sharon - great scrap book. I have never done anything like that. Have downloaded the Serif programme but have never used it. Thank you for the lovely comment on my last card. You asked about the braided ribbon. There is a very good tutorial here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kR63I-vyls0 If this link does not work correctly it is on Christina's blog and her address is www.flowersribbonsandpearls.blogspot.com It is very easy to do but does use a huge amount of ribbon. You will find a load of very useful tutorials on Christinas blog under the Card Making Magic tab at the top of her page.

Thanks so much I will have a look at her blog. The ribbon looked gorgeous. You should try the serif programme if only just to have a play first it's not complicated and can be fun too . Thanks so much for the links too , I love doing projects and doing new things. Take care honey xxxx

Hi Sharon,
another beautiful project. I too have the serif program but very rarely use it. As I have a mac computer and I have to use my pc on virtual box to be able to use windows programs, and I hate windows in any rate too many crashes.
Here I go off on a tangent again. Excuse my grumbling about windows.
In any rate your project is wonderful and a lovely keepsake of your cats.
Have wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Hi Sharon, Your card is really beautiful, I love it, and I love the piccies of your cats.
I must give a big thank you to Marie-Louise for sharing Christina's ribbon braiding tutorial, it is fantastic and so co-incidental that the meiflower stand at Ally Pally was allowing us to try out this ribbon braiding, I did about an inch and it was fascinating, so now I will be able to watch the video from Christina when I get into difficulties with it, thanks once again.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

I won't pretend Sharon - I have always said how technophobic I am and I am useless with these progammes - Serif are based near me perhaps I should pop in for a tut! Love your babies - you will have seen (possibly) on my blog that I have not had a very good year with my girls (and Buster). I adore cats of all types though and your babies have had a virtual cuddle from me! lol.
