A trip to an exotic country

Good evening blogger friends!

Hope you had a lovely day yesterday and today. Weather is awful here, so miserable and windy. Sorry for not blogging yesterday I had a busy day and still working on this project. I also suffer from pain daily and when it's too bad I have no strength to do anything.

Anyway enough of that. I made a quick card earlier which just reminds me of being away in an exotic country. I can dream eh lol. It's a birthday card and it's A5 landscape card blank.

I had these gorgeous papers in my stash. I covered the card blank with it then matted and layered and then put this gorgeous lady topper on top. I stuck this onto the card. I made the fan myself by using a fan template from a magazine and then cutting a brown patterned card to size and scored even widths and folded mountain and valley folds. I then finished by using peel off borders round the topper and fan and used a bow at the bottom of the fan and lastly a sentiment.

It's different and I like the topper and papers. Not my usual card but I guess you have to try everything once lol.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges please:

Hi Sharon,
very pretty card. I seem to miss you in evening. Well I'm here now.
The colours are very autumnal and that is a lovely idea the fan.
Hope your feeling much better now, or as well as you can be when your in pain. I don't know about you but I find crafting takes my mind off the pain.
In any rate good luck with the challenges.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
