Fairy lantern

Good afternoon fellow crafters

In all my time (many years) in crafting I've never had a desk to craft on.  I've always used the sofa, laptray and recently my bed lol.

It was my birthday Saturday and I asked for a desk and chair for my crafting.  I'm absolutely so happy I now have a solid surface with my crafting supplies in storage next to me , a tv to watch whilst crafting and a comfortable chair.  It's so nice to sit and craft on a solid surface lol.  So thank you mom I truly appreciate it.

My first project using my brand new desk is this beautiful lantern.  It's a die from tattered lace called "East meets west". I combined another fairy die from tonic on 2 panels instead of the normal die usually used for this lantern.  You can buy this die here:

Card stock is from create and craft core collection.  Fabulous quality cardstock.
Flowers are from different sets of tattered lace dies.

I used 2 fairy dies to add onto it.  One is from poppy crafts and the other from tattered lace called star flower fairy

The paper I used for the inside of the lantern is gold textured paper from tonic.  It gives of a beautiful warm glow when you place a battery operated candle inside

Gems are from my crafty stash

Hope you like this one
Thanks so much for stopping by and thank you do much for your lovely comments

Love

Sharon, this is absolutely gorgeous!! Sounds like a great birthday when you get things you really want like a desk and chair to help you craft a little easier. I love all your various pictures. The fairy dies are gorgeous! Maybe I will try something like this!! So glad you shared with us at the Outlawz Festive Fridays Challenge!

Fabulous lantern and beautiful dies---can I just say don't get used to your desk because soon it will become full of bit and bobs and unused dies you will still be crafting on the bed/floor or bedside cabinets and I know this because ??? don't even ask lol

Happy belated birthday, Sharon! What a fabulous project to break in your new crafting desk. Truly love the dies you've used and it's gorgeous whether lit or not. Good luck on avoiding clutter. I'm getting such a kick out of everyone's comments. You can't even walk in my craft room and every available solid space is filled. LOL xxD
