Mothers day project

Good evening my fellow friends

Well I've been busy past few days since my last post.  Had both my grandchildren for few hours wednesday then started making a project for mothers day as my mom decided she wanted an acetate bow card for mothers day so I gave other one I made for my son's girlfriend as he wanted it for her.

I needed to get it done as had steroid injection in shoulder today so I know by experience I'll be in more pain than usual tomorrow

Must pre warn you this post is a bit photo heavy

I put all my heart and soul into this one lol, to make one yourself you can follow tutorial here:
Acetate bow front card tutorial

I must admit I enjoy making these and think they're so effective and I love dimension it creates

The card stock I used is patterned cardstock from Hunkydorys free club gift. You sign up for free to get it and I must say it's just beautiful card and toppers too .

The lady inside is from A kit from create and craft which was only £5 and there's so much in it, certainly a bargain.

Dies I used are:
Tattered lace flower
flourishes
Botanic collection orchard dies and stamps
Spellbinders rose creation die
X cut background A5 die

Acetate, lace, peg, pearl gems and rest on card are from my stash

I also made a gift box, originally to put card in but it won't fit so will use it for her gifts which I decorated by stamping and putting ribbon on just to make it that extra bit special

I hope all the mothers out there have a lovely mothers day, you're all very special and deserve a rest lol

Thank you so much for visiting and commenting, really appreciate your time  ...

Much love
Sharon
