This Blog Hop has now been extended until the 10th October instead of the 8th October!!

Welcome to the Digistamps4Joy COUNTRY theme Blog Hop running from 5 – 10 October 2013 to celebrate World Card Making Day on the 5th October.

You have arrived at sharons (Crafty Hugs) blog In catshill U.K.   I have interpreted the country theme as the royal family in the U.K and the famous royal family weddings!  Princess Diana the most beautiful princess that can never be replaced. Also the most recent wedding of Prince William and his beautiful Bride, the birth of their son and of course not forgetting the Royal Diamond Jubilee!

2. DS4J is also offering a whopping $30 Gift Voucher to the Digistamps4Joy store where you can choose any images up to a total value of $30! Now isn’t that a fabulous prize? But what do you need to do to earn it?

All of the blogs will have a unique Letter of the Alphabet displayed in the Blog Hop post. Collect all these letters and put them together to create a short quotation. Send your answer to Margy at with the subject title of “DS4J Blog Hop answer”. A randomly drawn winner will be chosen from all the correct entries received.

Here is the card I made for the Blog Hop.

This is a centre step card.  I used some DP Papers from a paper pad I bought
last year for the queens jubilee.  I've never used it so I'm so glad it has come in handy lol.
The die cuts are spellbinders.  I made the pin myself with beads and diamante beads I have.  The bunting is hand made just by cutting triangles out of paper and hanging on some red and white twine I had lying around.

Close up
The lace , flowers, bows are all from my crafty stash.  The paper flower on the right are handmade from a tutorial on a past post from Desires Blog.

This card is truly fit for royalty with all of those wonderful rich colours and beautiful embellishments. I agree that Princess Di can never be replaced, but Kate sure reminds me of her in so many ways. Diana would be so proud of the man that William became and the wonderful wife that he chose. Hugs ~ Charlene

What a great card to represent UK you had me with lady Di! Still remember watching her wedding when I was a kid ;o)

I never forget Lady Di. She was a beautiful princess. In those days, our television screen at home was in b&w; so my sister and I walked up to our grandpa's home to watch her wedding in colorful tv screen. 30 years later I watched her son's wedding on my own LCD tv with my children and like Alex, I had tears as William walked out of the car with his brother; that was so brotherly love being together without their mother. Your card represents your country so beautifully.
