Black and white monochrome card

Good evening bloggers

I've had one hell of a week.  Everything that can go wrong did go wrong lol.  It's really cold out and it really affects my arthritis in many of my joints including my spine, I rely heavily on heat pads and swear by them.  Well 2 decided to spark and just blew  meaning I had no others.  Spent 2 nights not sleeping well at all whilst waiting for new one.  So my new one came and was so relieved to have one again, plugged it in and guess what?, yes it didn't work, another faulty one. Had to go into Argos today to exchange for second time.  Thankfully  (touch wood) it works! Lol

Spent few hours with my little ray of sunshine yesterday , think she's teething as she was bit grizzly, poor thing

I got some black card so decided to make a monochrome black and white card with hint of silver lol .  I also got some embellishments from Poundland, was quite surprised to see how nice they are and good quality

I made 8x8 card out of A4 black card. Matted and layered silver Mirri and white cardstock and used couture die to die cut the sides of white card.

I then die cut  black and white card using ultimate crafts damask dies and stamped sentiment in the middle using botanic collection stamp.

The dies at the top are tattered lace dies.  The bow is from Christmas ribbon from create and craft

Gems and pearls from Poundland and the lady is from hunkydory little dresses pad of which I fussy cut and decoupaged.

Thank you all so much for your visits and comments and I hope you have a fab weekend

Lots of love

Hi Sharon,
another really gorgeous creation.
Love everything about this it's sooooo!!!!!!!!! gorgeous too.
Yes pounland is very useful for reasonable embellishments.
I don't get there very often sadly though.
So sorry to hear about you heat pads glad all is sorted now and you are more comfortable.
Being a arthritis sufferer myself I can relate to your pain.
Yesterday I started to comment and after a short while I was in soooooo!!!!! much pain I had to abondon it for today.
Thnkfully rest and pain killers helped a little never thought of my heat pad though so thank you for reminding me.
Must get it out and leave it by my chair now to remind me, and yes you are right this cold doesn't help.
We have storage heaters and they are useless it can be 16 to 18 degrees in my lounge after heating up all night and we pay the earth for the pleasure.
Have to top up with calor gas ones to make it warm enough.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
