Good afternoon everyone in bloggers land today!
I hope you are all having a lovely day so far. Thank you for all your kind comments yesterday on my blog. All of you are so talented and all of your blogs are just fab!
The box I've made today was from a website where I followed a tutorial. If you want to make one yourself pls click this link : Explosion box Tutorial
It is easy to make. The two images are stamps I received free from a craft magazine I'm subscribed to. I coloured them in with my favourite pro-marker pens. I matted and layered the images with die cuts from spellbinders. The card stock I used to make the box was patterned card from a Hunkydory kit. The lid was made from white glittered card stock and some organza blue ribbon wrapped around and tied in a bow.
The sides of the box have been decorated with die cuts using spellbinder dies and layered to make flowers and on one side is a "happy birthday" sentiment. The inside of the box was decorated with layers of die cuts , gems and flowers from my stash.
A cute box ideal for little gifts for birthdays.

Lovely box Sharon. I got the Holly Hobby stamps too. Reminds me of years and years ago when Holly Hobby was very popular and I made a Holly Hobby doll, complete with clothing, to raffle and raise some funds for a young peoples group at church. Must use this stamp now. love from Christine x

ReplyDeleteMy name Pam and my blog is scrap-n-sewgranny,blogspot.com
Karen Letchworth from Word Art Wednesday asked me to check out your blog. I love your Holly Hobby girls! They remind me of when my girls were small (they are in their 30's now, how time fly's) and Holly Hobby was so popular. I collect plates of Holly Hobby. Your colors are beautiful! Please visit my blog!
I would like to follow your blog. Keep up the beautiful work!
