Thanks again for all your lovely comments and your time in viewing my blog. I truly appreciate it. You are all so friendly and I'm so glad I started up my blog. It's very addictive though lol.
My card today is again from a tuturiol I followed on this website: Shadow box tutorial . It is very easy to do but I tweaked the measurements to make it larger and also used a different cut out using my spellbinders die.
The image I used was a digi stamp called sugar Nellie which I had won with the others on previous posts. I coloured them in using my trusty pro markers and I had so much fun colouring these images in. I cut the image out using the same spellbinder die as my aperture. Then I stick this onto the bottom of the shadow box before sticking the top of the shadow box on.
I decorated the front using holographic card cut from spellbinder dies then cutting it into four parts to use to decorate the corners. I used several different spellbinder die cuts to make up the paper flower on the left hand side. I finished of with glitter, ribbon roses and a "merry Christmas " sentiment for the bottom. I also used flower ribbon at the bottom underneath the sentiment.
I love this card. It's so effective.
