Good morning everyone in blogger land today!
I hope you all have a fab day and it goes better than my day did yesterday. I'd like to welcome my new follower and to thank her very much for following me. Thank you very for your comments yesterday on my card they mean so much to me.
This was the project I was working on which I finished a lot quicker than I thought I would lol. Now that's a miracle lol.
I followed a tutorial online to make the draw underneath first. You can find it here if you want to make it yourself too: Drawer box tutorial I used some Hunkydory Christmas card stock I had in my stash to make the draw with.
For the easel card I made myself by making sure the width and height fitted onto the draw. I used some snowfall acetate for the easel bit. The acetate was from kanban and was included in a Christmas kit I bought a few months ago. I scored it in half then glued it to the top of the draw. I then scored the top of the acetate that was free in half again to make the easel for my topper to be stuck on.
I used some kanban star gold foiled card stock for the top then used die cuts which I cut from my spellbinder dies to Matt and layer onto. I then cut a snowflake die out of some white patterned Christmas card , cut the points of the snowflake off to put into all four corners. The image is again from a blog challenge which I won and it is a sugar nellie digi stamp range. She's been coloured with pro-markers and glittered. Roses were then placed around the topper randomly.
I used some more snowflake dies to make a flower and cut a red flower from some ribbon I had and placed in the middle. I used this and the sentiment "happy christmas" as a stopper. The border on the base of the card is white glitter card with flower ribbon glued across the middle with silver peel offs on top and bottom .
The drawer front is matted and layered with the gold and white glittered card stock with the same flower ribbon and corner dies on each side. The handle is a piece of jewellery I have in my stash which I attached with ribbon and glue.
