Good morning bloggers.
I hope you all have had a great morning and a good day yesterday. I want to thank you all for your comments once again, I know all of our time is precious so it does mean a lot for you to even look at my blog and comment so thank you all very much!
I can't believe how time is going so quick , soon it will be Christmas -Aaaaarhghhh , don't get me wrong I love Christmas but its seems to be all about money lately and it doesn't feel the same. Probably because my boys have grown up lol.
I must apologise for how simple my cards are lately. I've been concentrating on colouring and using them on a card at a later day so I'm doing what I call quick and easy cards but they still turn out ok in the end so please accept my apologies.
This card is an A5 landscape easel card. As you may know by now I love Faeries, especially the flower Faeries images. I have many decoupage sheets of these which just need to be used up lol. I've had them for months.
I decided to use up some old patterned paper to that I've been hoarding now for quite a while lol. It is a beautiful flower patterned paper which I used to cover the top of the easel card. I used a wavy cutter blade to cut around the paper to match the size of the card. I decoupaged the fairy image and then glazed over the top using Pinflair glaze varnish. I used the same scissors to cut round the papers to mat and layer underneath the decoupage, again using paper from my stash. I then used silver peel off borders to stick around the bottom layer.
On the bottom of the easel card I covered it using a different patterned black and white paper , used a cut of from the flower paper to stick to the right hand side and used silver corner peel offs in the corners. For the easel stopper I used a thick piece of silver patterned card cut to side and wrapped some white ribbon around it and finished it off with three green gems and a gold mirrored card cut from a flourish die from Joy Crafts. The sentiment is inside the card which says "with love" which I apologise I forgot to take a picture off.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenge please:

Hi Sharon,
another super card. Love the papers, and the images of the fairies.
I didn't realize you liked fairies, but then I should have guessed with all fairies you put on your cards. You would love my house then
I inherited all my mothers fairy plates, eggs, ornaments, and decoupage pictures when she passed away. None of my sisters wanted them and as she loved them so much I couldn't see them go to a charity shop. I even had to buy a piece of furniture to house the plates and ornaments. She has even got fairies etched on her gravestone.
Sorry it's a long comment.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
