Good morning everyone!
I'm posting this early as I will be busy on Monday and Tuesday so won't be able to post on tuesday but will pop in when I can to check on your blogs. Thank you for all of your kind comments, I have been busy crafting lately and I'm enjoying every minute.
I hope you all have a great start to the week and have fun crafting.
This card I followed a tutorial once again from this site: Treat box tutorial . There is a template available for you to download and use but I just used the measurements available and took it from there. I love making new projects. This is easy to do and just uses one piece of A4 card stock where I used a Hunkydory card.
I used some patterned paper from my stash to cover the inside of the card by the treat box and also inside the treat box. I used a spellbinders die to cut the window out of the box and used acetate to stick inside. This treat box is fantastic for smelly tea light candles. A fantastic gift for a special person.
The images are Sarah Kay stamps coloured with my pro markers of course lol. They were cut using X Cut dies and one matted onto embossed die cut silver mirrored card. I used the matted one to stick on the front and the other one I used for inside. I cut many different die cuts from spellbinders and layered to make a small flower. I finished off with my ribbon roses from my stash and a sentiment which I put inside the card. I put candles in my treat box but you could put whatever you wanted in there, even chocolates yummy!!
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges please:
Every day is an occasion- Sunday fun day-Anything goes
Squirrel and fox challenge -Use a ribbon
Anything challenge blog spot - Make your own embellishments (made own flower using die cuts and ribbon bow)
