You ARE beautiful! DT post

Good morning everyone

Today is start of a new challenge over at "Moving along with the times"

The theme today is chosen by zoe:

"Hello and welcome to the latest MAWTT challenge.   I'm Zoe from Lincolnshire, UK and I'm here to share the new challenge.  I'm looking for Girls Birthday cards.
It can be for any age up to 21 as it's my 19 year old daughter's birthday this month and so seemed a good choice.  It's also an easy wide open theme and so we're looking forward to seeing what you create. "

You join in with the challenge here: Moving along with the times challenge blog

The card I made today is a pocket card.  You can put in gift cards, vouchers and even some tags with meaningful words.
To follow the quick tutorial to create one click here:
Pocket card tutorial

I decided to make a card for a young teenager. Now I think society these days is so harsh for girls that age and many end up feeling insecure.
I included a tag with just the simple words "you are beautiful" . Those words can mean so much to girls that age.

Cardstock I used is from Hunkydory.
The decoupaged girl is from their "little book of dresses" paper pad. I absolutely adore these little pads.

The tag Is from a kit from create and craft called "get the nation crafting" a bargain at just £5 and you get do much in the kit too.

Patterned papers are from little dixies paper pads. Flowers made using tattered lace dies.

Sentiment , ribbon , lace bow and Mirri cardstock are all from my stash.

Look forward to seeing your beautiful creations.

Thanks so much for stopping by

Bye for now
Love
