Tammy's Scrapin Corner challenge #38! DT post

Good morning fellow bloggers , followers and visitors!

Well what a week lol. I've had the company of my boyfriend, my two sons, sons girlfriend , 3 cats and 1 dog. It's been a very busy week!

My eldest cat disappeared and really though I'd lost him for good this time. The weather was awful with the atrocious winds and rain, he's very fragile and old so we all went looking for him at night and got soaked lol. He decided to stroll home hours later like nothing had happened, he was drenched so I dried him off and spoilt him. I was so pleased to see him and thanked god for his return home safely!

It is now quiet and now it's just myself and my cats here. I'm enjoying the peace and quiet and resting now plus catching up on my crafting. Apart from that I've had a really good week. I hope you all are well and have had a good week too!

Now over to my DT post of Tammy's Scrapin Corner new challenge for this week! The theme this week is "Let it Snow". I'm sure you all have some great snowflake dies you could use and some stunning embellishments and stamps. So why not come on over and join us for this wonderful challenge! I'd love to see your creations , you are all very talented and we all love seeing what you've made!

And
QKR Stampede Stamps : QKR Stampede Stamps Store

The card I made for this weeks theme is from an A4 Blank card Stock folded into a landscape.

Front of the card:

The image I used is called "Snowy Barn" from our fabulous sponsor this week called QKR Stampede Stamps. (link Above).

Materials used:

Image : QKR Stampede Digi - Snowy Barn coloured with Pro-Markers

Snow effect on the ground was done using my Flower Soft Snow and sprinkling some Iridescent Glitter on top.

Snow on the roof tops of the barn was done using my Iridescent Glitter Glue.

3D snowflake was created using Spellbinders Dies , cutting two of the same design. Scoring at each corner , cut into the middle at one point. Folded using mountain and valley folds , doing exactly the same to the other one and sticking the two together to create the 3D Snowflake. The smaller version was done using the exactly the same technique.

Two types of different patterned paper was from my stash

The blue and white lace, snowflake die cuts, bauble sentiments and glitter were all from my stash.

  13. Hi..

Your card is gorgeous, but unfortunately not suitable for our challenge at In The Pink.... where if you read our guidelines, you will see our main requirement is that your card is primarily pink.

Hope to see you again with a pink card in our next challenge!
