Good morning everyone!
Thank you once again for your lovely comments on my previous post and your best wishes and kind words about my cat Thomas.
Luckily I've found a vet that can help me with the cost of my cat to have his blood tests so that is such a relief. I took Patricia's advice and rang the PDSA so thank you so much from my heart Patricia as they are happy to help my baby. Just waiting on an appointment now to get him in for blood tests. The sooner it's done the better so he can finally get the medication he deserves. He's just skin and bones due to the disease and his hearts beating fast which isn't good. The medication will help him get the nutrients he needs and will Build him up. Its not his time yet he's plenty of life left in him i hope. He's an old cat but if theres a light then ill take it just so he doesn't suffer. I have three cats and they are spoilt.
My other cat decided to wake me up this morning by sticking her claws in my mouth and giving me a thick lip cause I was ignoring her and still asleep lol. They wake me up every morning for feeding but this morning I must of been too tired to respond and I suffered for it lol.
I was crafting again last night I seem to be going through a phase of not sleeping and having the urge to craft instead lol. Can't be a bad thing though huh.
I've followed another tutorial and made this amazing unique card which has turned out pretty good. I love a challenge and making different projects.
This one is called "The magic card", the tutorial can be found at this site: Magic Card Tutorial If you look around her blog she has amazing cards and tutorials.
The main part of this card you can flip over so you can decorate both sides and the base of the card inside can be used for sentiments and to write to the person you give it to. This one is a Thank you card for a friend who has always been there for me through thick and thin.
Front of the card :
Back of the card:

The other side of the inside :

Sorry to hear you are struggling with sleep also, last night I curled up and dozed on the sofa watching craft on TV so not very productive. Your project card is beautiful and so much detail, I really enjoyed looking at it. Good luck with your vet visit and many hugs. xx Flora

Morning Sharon, I'm so glad that I was able to help you with info on PDSA, and lets hope they can help Thomas, I have two cats myself (adopted from RSPCA 2 years ago), they are brother and sister and I can't tell them apart until I look at their collars ha ha, and they are both 'spoilt' too. I hope your lip is not too 'clawed' ha ha, those claws are so sharp aren't they.
ReplyDeleteYour card today, is absolutely gorgeous, loving the colours, thanks for the link to the tutorial, greatly appreciated.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Your card is lovely, that snowflake is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI had a cat that was old at least 17, and was looking really scruffy and I had decided it was time to let her go. The vet told me she wanted to run tests first and it turned out she had a bladder infection and an over active thyroid. It took a little doing, but she came back to her old self. I had her till last year, when at the ripe old age of 20 she had worn out her little cat body. I still miss her but am grateful for the extra time the thyroid meds gave her, she was the sweetest cat ever. I hope that your cat does as well as mine did.
thanks for playing with us at Pile It On.
