Good afternoon to all who visits my blog! Thank you for your time and viewing my blog. Your comments and all of your blogs are so talented and give inspiration to all!
I also want to thank Jenny for explaining how to put images onto my side bar. I did it with ease all thanks to you honey. I love all of your comments and when I have time I always visit your blogs which I must say that all of your creations are astounding! I still have a way to go to making my blog a little bit better as I've noticed that some of my photos are too large so will have to downsize them just a little bit.
Also a ribbon girl candy giveaway , please check out her blog : Ribbon girl candy giveaway. So much candy including Christmas twine!
Well if you remember I said in my previous posts a few days ago that I was working on a project. Due to illness it has took longer than expected but I'm pleased to say it has now been finished and I'm pleased with the outcome. I followed a tutorial for this project out of the crafters companion new magazine so if you haven't got it then there may be a tutorial on their website.
I thoroughly enjoyed making this and it took time and a lot of work but it was all worth it. There are 24 draws for the countdown to Christmas and there is a large box at the top for the 25th. The draw handles were bells which jingle lol that I threaded beaded wire through the first layer glued the ends at the back then layered onto another card being gold mirrored card and then stuck on each draw. The patterned card and toppers were from the snowman and Father Christmas range at crafters companion. I used some gorgeous red Christmas glittered ribbon to wrap round the bottom of the top box and glued sentiments and die cut snowflakes around it. All of the card was matted onto gold mirrored card.
The lid for the top of the number 25th box was also from crafters companion and so was the aperture layer on top. The image on the top was a stamp from wild rose studios called feeding robins which I had won and coloured with my spectrum noir pens and her gorgeous furry hat was glittered. The snow was created with my white soufflé Sakura gel pen.
I'd like to enter this project into the following challenges please:
Anything but a card challenge -Anything bit a card
Make it Monday challenge -Anything goes
Keep on crafting Christmas -Christmas projects
Forever friends challenges -Anything goes
Spectrum noir challenge -Any holiday theme
Divas by design challenge -Use texture
5cct challenge -Anything but a card - Christmas theme
Stamp and create challenge -Winter wonderland
Crafty ribbons challenge - anything but square. ( think this complies with the challenge as it is not a square card but an oblong project. If it doesn't comply please delete)
Abc Christmas challenge 12 days of Christmas - four calling birds on the stamp
Papercraft card challenge Anything goes
Stampotique challenge -Weather- snowfall on my stamp image
I hope you like this and I really hope you all have a fantastic day!
Many hugs
Sharon xxxx

Hi Sharon,
ReplyDeletewhat a fabulous project and so fantastically done. It so gorgeous.
I am so glad you managed the badges, I kept popping back and forth for a while to see if you had managed it.
Now to your photos when you upload them on to your blog make them large not extra large that should do the trick.
