Good evening bloggers. A late post for today, been a busy day trying to sort out finances and had to go and see a back specialist. Tired and in pain but couldn't go a day without blogging lol.
Id like to welcome my other new two followers - Cardsarus and Marie. Welcome and thank you all for your time and comments!
Hope everyone's day has been great?
I love this card. It's an easel card which I made myself out of an A4 card blank. The topper is so cute, a little pixie fairy. I stuck some patterned paper onto the top of the easel card before I matted the topper onto spellbinders cut card I think they are called the labels dies. I then matted onto some co ordinations core black card which I teared on either side to give it a distressed look. Used a gold peel off flower in the corner of the top of the easel. I used some clear gems on the left hand side. The sentiment "pretty as a picture" I put some gold peel offs around the edges to give it some definition.
With all easel cards sometimes you need to put a stopper so as to stop the top of the easel card from slipping down. I used some plain paper to mat at the bottom. I used a different spellbinder labels die on top. Cut a border out of some patterned paper and glued some ribbon on top before sticking down. I raised the border with some foam pads and finished the card with that gorgeous tear drop gem and those unique wooden alphabet letters "magic".
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
House of gilli- More than one fold
Paper pretties blog- Use ribbon
Make it Monday's Anything goes
Anything but a card Texture
The squirrel and the fox -Anything goes
Dis digi designs challenge - Use more than one die cut or punch
Joanna sheen challenge -So sweet. ( I think this darling pixie fairy is so sweet)
Have a lovely evening
All the best

ReplyDeleteHi Sharon,
ReplyDeletepretty card. Good luck with the challenges.
Can I give you a tip, I don't know if you know this. When you put your picture of your card on your blog, after uploading it and it appearing on your post left click the centre of your picture up will come sizes to put your picture in. I always use large. Then left click your mouse outside your picture, and you have a nice size that people can take a closer look at.
Have a wonderful crafty day everyone.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Ahhhh thank you so much for your tip! It does make sense and I guess cause I see it on my iPhone I don't see whether it's big enough. It's really nice that I get these great tips because as you know I'm a newbie and I'm only just learning how everything works. Thanks again your all very kind. All the best sharon xxxx
