Winter wonderland shaker card. DT post

Good evening crafters

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Creative Moments challenge blog.
The optional theme is shaker card.

To hop on over to join in click here: Creative moments Challenge blog
One of the sponsors who are sponsoring us for this challenge is the paper nest dolls , I chose this image as I wanted to do a winter/Christmas themed shaker card.  You can buy her here: Avery with snowman

I used the creative expressions hexagon die but only used the 2 largest dies to create the shaker card with acetate which I got from create and craft.  To buy sue Wilson's hexagon die you can click here for the best price :
Sue Wilson's die set

I used Tattered lace silhouette dies of trees and fence with a small bird perched on it, (I won these a few months back), to create the scene. I also stamped a tree on either side using hunkydory for the love of stamps set.  I dabbed a bit of tacky glue on certain parts then sprinkled white flower soft and fine glitter to create the effect of snow.

The base of the card is embossed and I also used blue chalk ink at the top.  I then coloured the image in using Spectrum noir pens and put a few sprinkles inside and glued it all together .

The snowflakes I used is from crafters companion die set. Sara signature die set:
Snowflake die set. 15% off too.

The flowers and flourishes are from tattered lace
Gems from my stash and sentiment from Hunkydorys stamp set

Look forward to seeing what you create over on the blog.

Have a lovely week
