I'm not old! I'm a Classic! DT post

Good morning to you all on this beautiful sunny morning

It's The start of a new challenge over at "Moving along with the times" blog today.
The optional theme is for the males.  A card for the males can be hard for some especially if you're like me and like your flowers and bows lol but it's a great challenge to push yourself out of your normal crafting zone
You can join in here:
Moving along with the times

The image is from Sheena douglass stamps and the sentiment too.  I got it at a bargain price of a pound! I do love my bargains. I coloured it using spectrum noir alcohol pens and highlights are done using white gel pen. I distressed with Tim holtz burlap ink around both the image and sentiment.

The paper I used is from colour family pads from Hunkydory and the patterned paper is from the "just for him" craft stack pads which I won in a fb competition. The beer crate is also from the craft stack pad and came as a kit.
You can see more varieties of craft stack pads here: Craft stack poppy pad

The twine, ribbon and gems are from my craft stash.

Now I did make a bow and some flowers and tried to make it look masculine but it just didn't look right so had to leave them out which was very hard to do lol!

Look forward to seeing your fabulous creations

Have a lovely day and thanks so much for stopping by

Love
Sharon xxxx

  8. It's a lovely card, but unfortunately the challenge this week at Crafty Cardmakers is At least 2 dies or punches or one of each, not anything goes, so it can't be considered for the winner. But thank you for sharing it with us!

    1. Hi hun. There are two dies in the card. Ones a nesting die which the image us placed on and the other a tattered lace oval die of which the sentiment is stamped onto. Either way is fine. Thank you

  10. Hi Sharon,
oh my word that was a bargain.
I remember when those stamps came out and wishing to have them but didn't have the pennies at the time.
Now I think I am really old as I remember the actual van too. LOL.
In anyrate your card is gorgeous and wonderfully created and coloured.
Love the beer crate also that is quite different and lovely.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
