Good evening everyone
I've been trying to look for this blood moon but it's too cloudy here tonight so I may not see it well
I've never really used embossing folders probably because they all turned out wrong for me lol. I looked on Google for the best ways .
I used this stunning crafters companion 3D Christmas village embossing folder. You can go here to buy one :

3D embossing folder
My first photo was done using black card to emboss with then using my fingers to rub silver gilding polish over the raised details. It was like it came to life, was so detailed. I then used white gel pen to highlight a few areas.
I had no snowy affect acetate so created my own by using my white gel pen on the acetate to create the snow. I then used the acetate to wrap around the front of the card.
My second card was made by inking the debossed side of the embossing folder with distressed blue oxide ink.
I then used a paintbrush with some water to paint the raised detail and used my white gel pen for highlights . Lastly I put glitter on it.
I distressed the sentiment and snowflake dies with the same ink .
Really interesting and fun and easy to do. Something I shall start doing more
Habe a lovely evening
Sharon
