Vintage Christmas tag

Good evening everyone

I wanted a change of crafting because as you've probably realised I've been painting and doing scenes quite a lot lol.

I just love Christmas and in the crafting world Christmas is basically here lol! 

So I decided to make quite a large vintage Christmas tag.  I've not done vintage for quite some time so it was fun to get back into it again. 

The card base is kraft card from Lynda Chapman.

I cut it into a tag shape and used a sharp knife to roughen up all the edges and then distress it with Tim holtz burlap distress ink.  I also used silver gilding wax around the edges. 

The robin, holly and poinsetta are pre cut die cuts from Anna Griffin range. 

The rest on the tag are all bits and bobs which I found by rummaging through my stash. 

The wooden letters at the bottom spells out "Vintage" and I distressed and used gilding wax on those too.  At the bottom of the letters I put some glue and dabbed on white flowersoft to make it look like snow.

The silver metallic gilding polish is from creative expressions.

Robin is matted onto a die cut called Eleganza from tattered lace. 

Ribbon and lace are from create and craft range.

Flowers are made using Dies from tattered lace and spellbinders. I used some glitter in some of them. 

Flourishes are from Joanna sheen

I distressed everything on there and roughened up edges to create a vintage look. 

It's a big tag with lovely dimensions and different mixed media.
