Grandfather and child

Good morning bloggers and all who visit my blog

It's early in the morning here and I've just finished another project.

It's a centre step card but instead of doing my usual ones I went on the search for a bit simplier templates and tutorials to follow.
I actually found a tutorial with a lot less measuring required. Took me just a few minutes to do.  You can find the tutorial here:

I also bought a new brand of die and if I'm honest I've never heard of them before.  I love silhouette dies and saw this and thought how cute it was.  You get the silhouette of the grandfather and child and another die to cut out background with.  They're called "Quick Dies" .  I'm glad to confirm I'm thoroughly pleased with how they cut and turned out. I love them. It was £6.99 reduced from £12.99.  They have so much more dies available too.
You can find them here:

The background I created myself using red, yellow and orange sparkle pens , I also die cut some flowers and flourishes from it too.

The base of the card is from Kanban and the coloured paper is from Hunkydory colour family pad. The ribbon and twine plus gems from create and craft and the flowers and other matting die cut is from tattered lace.

Sentiment is from a kit from create and craft.
