Gatefold card

Good evening all

Just a quick post tonight.

Unfortunately my nan passed away Monday , she was 103 and an amazing lady.
I will miss and due to stress I've been unwell all week, doctors have helped me out and feeling bit better today.

I won this digi stamp at scrapbook stamp society , it's a beautiful digi and took a few nights to colour it.   Think my emotions have reflected in my card making as I'm not too sure about this one

It's a gatefold using A4 cardstock from Hunkydory and glittered white cardstock and black card from craftstash ( I do love this site) and shopped there for the 20% off for new customers.  You can hop on over here:
I matted ribbon onto cardstock on outside flaps from create and craft .  Used sue Wilson rectangle ornate die to Matt digi onto.
Flowers were made using different sets of dies from tattered lace and spellbinders

Also used beautiful tattered lace crescent creations die.

For the inside I used botanic gate die to cut aperture into cardstock, placed acetate and different style card behind and stuck the die cut on top .

Ribbon from create and craft made using bow maker.

Sentiments and gems are from my other bits from my stash.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend

Thanks so much for stopping by it means so much to me

Lots of love
Sharon Hudson

RIP to my sweet one in a million nan

  2. Ah, Sharon, I'm so sorry about your nan. It sounds like she was an amazing woman and like she had a big impact on your life. So glad the doctors have been able to help you. Your card is beautiful, and our cardmaking does reflect so much of what is going on in life. I'm sure she would have loved seeing this card. What an amazing design, and your cards are so creative with their folds. Amazing! Tender hugs!

  3. So sorry to read about your Nan, grandmas hold a special place in our hearts, don’t they? The card is lovely, so many details to enjoy. Hopefully having a creative outlet helped a little bit along with the doctors. Take care.
