Double twisted easel card

Good evening to all!

Hope your day was as good as it can be.

My new dies came today.  Got them at a bargain price of £6.  Not bad for over 7 dies.  So thought I'd have a play around and see what I could create from them .

I have made a double twisted easel card and did not follow a tutorial for this one.  I used an A4 card,  turned it length ways, longest length facing me and folded it length ways.  Then scored it in the middle of the card,  longest length towards me again, from the top and scored downwards towards centre of  the fold.  I then cut across the score line which resulted in two squares , I then folded each corner down to centre of the card to reveal my twisted easel.

I decorated with papers from Hunkydory paws for thought (this was a really nice card kit and it's so versatile) and papers from my stash.

The dies I have used for this card are Ultimate crafts magnolia lane collection :  Damask frame, magnolia frame and magnolia borders. I cut the damask frame die in half to use for the corners .

The decoupage are flower fairies images.  The ribbon , floweres, sentiment and pink gems are all from my bits and bobs crafty stash.

The pink ink pad used to distress the matting that images are on is from Versamagic dew drop chalk ink in colour pixie dust.

I used my dies on pearl finish vellum.  Love the effect it gives

Thank you so much for coming and viewing my blog and commenting , it means so much that my work is liked and it's something that's keeping me going and distracting me from the woes of reality lol

Have a lovely weekend

Much love
Sharon
