Good evening bloggers
I've had a super busy day today. I had my darling grandson who is 2 years old and he was hyper today so I'm exhausted lol.
Once he went home I wound down by doing some crafting .
I've made this beautiful tealight candle card, you can find the tutorial to this here:

The images and some of the backing paper was from Debbie Moore CD Tom of angels. They are stunning images and beautiful papers too.
I used some silver mirror card and then die cut the paper on top using spellbinder rose creation die. I used the negative die cut paper and added the flowers on top and glittered it with some glitter glue.
The butterflies are from eBay already die cut. used some silver border stick ons to use around the card. Gems , flower and sentiment from my stash. I glittered the wings of the angel and used a small bow to out on the box inside.
I hope you like it , have a lovely evening

Hi Sharon,
ReplyDeletegone but not forgotton.
I kept wondering where you were and how you were too.
I am so glad all is well with you and such a lot has happened to you over the past years.
Isn't it lovely being a Grand Parent it's like haveing your children all over again.
Yes I'm still around and blogging.
This year is my sixth year.
Your creation as it always was is so beautiful and stunning.
Love the images and your design is brilliantly created.
Lots of crafty love and hugs. Jenny L.
Hi Sharon! How lovely to see a new face in the Playground - at least I do think it's your first play? And what a lovely box you created - so pretty.
ReplyDeleteA lot has happened in card making while you were away and many of us do get a bit swept along by all the new innovations. I peeked back in your blog and see that you had a hip replacement after what seems like a long period of awful pain. I can so sympathise with you - I limped down that same road a few years ago and was overjoyed to find such relief after the operation. Of course, there's the fun of setting off alarms at airport security and such too! :)
Come back and play soon - all I ask is that you do use at least one scrap or snippet of card, paper, thread, ribbon or whatever. No theme and just one entry per fortnight - I announce picks and the prize winner(s) in the interim week. Easy peasy :)
Hugs
Di xx
