Good afternoon everyone in blog land today!
I hope you are all doing fine!
Been a wee bit busy this week in crafting. Thought I'd do a bit if crafting to take my mind of personal stuff and its working lol.
It's amazing how when your mind is occupied you are a lot more calmer and at peace with your life. So I've realised crafting is good for the mind which I'm sure many of you out there understand.
Anyway yesterday I made this acetate bow front Christmas card. It is very effective yet so easy to do. You can find the tutorial here: Acetate Bow card
The image is called carolling kids I think and it's from Digi Darla's Store. It is a digi stamp and I coloured it in with my usual Pro Markers. Now don't you think they are adoreable lol I used glitter angel dust on their hats.
I used gold card to cover the background on the inside of the card. The red glittered oval aperture was from a crafters Companion kit from last year. I used a piece of acetate to stick to the back of the card to make the flower die inside move and pop out.
The tag on the outside was from a Christmas set my mother bought me last month.
Ribbons are from crafty ribbons.
Paper flower outside is made with spellbinders die and the border at the bottom is also from a spellbinders die set , I used some scrap/left over/snippet of red card for the border.
I hope you enjoy my creation and I thank you for your time and hope you have a fabulous day.
Hugs
Sharon xxx
