Hi everyone!
This is our midway inspiration for our new challenge at DS4J!!
THEME : '60's inspiration"
This is going to be fun! The 60's are synonymous with the following, so you have such a variety of ideas to work with:
The first moon walk
Music - Temptations, BeeGees (ooh aah one of my favourites!)
MINI skirts!!! (and boy were these short - cannot believe I actually wore them!)
Straight dresses (Twiggy style)
Twiggy hairstyle
HUGE round sunglasses
BLACK eyeliner (see Twiggy again)
BIG earrings
It's our new challenge here at Digistamps4Joy blog: DS4J Challenge 35 and Riette is hosting. Now close your eyes and picture mini-skirts, pearls and twin-sets, Twiggy, the moon landing, large sunglasses, bold and striking patterns and don't forget flower power! Yes, our challenge is
INSPIRED by the 60's!!!
Challenge runs from 4 - 17 September 2013
Here's a little inspiration photo from 60's advertisements to also get your creative juices flowing:

If your stuck for images then head on over to the DS4J store which have some great digi images which are just great for this challenge. Go here : DS4J Store
I have used the DS4J digi stamp called "twiggy". You can find this image here too at the store: Twiggy Digi Stamp DS4J
I made an easel drawer card, tutorial can be found here: Easel Drawer Tutorial
Coloured Twiggy in using Pro Markers. I used bold patterned papers (Flower Power) lol. White doily and black card to Matt twiggy onto.
I used some Wooden lettering to spell out the word "Groovy" at the bottom of the card. Lace around top of easel, spellbinders die cut with cut out butterfly on top , Martha Stewart butterflies and flowers as embellishments .
Spellbinders die cuts at the bottom of easel card with raised embellishment to stop card from falling down and gold heart peel offs.
So go have fun and head on over to digi stamps 4 joy blog :DS4J Blog
