My favourite project for 2012! - Challenge Entry

Good afternoon everyone and a very happy new year for 2013!

I hope it's been a great new start for you all! It's started well for me so far which is a rate occurrence lol. I've finally found out what the problem is with my hip! I've been off sick from work for over a year now and last year was one hell of a year what with finances, pain , appointments and just pure frustration of being unable to move as much as normal. It's amazing how much we take for advantage and last year has taught me a lot. They first though it was sciatica and I had an epidural to help with the pain but it didn't work so had an MRI scan on my hip. I had the doctor ring me Wednesday which was quick, letting me know I have fluid and a cyst forming on my hip joint plus arthritis due to the injury being left so long so finally I have a diagnosis and it can get treated once and for all and maybe later this year I can start leading a normal life!

I've also had a bit if money come through which is a godsend as finances have been bad. So all in all it's not been a bad start to the year so far!

I hope you all have a fantastic start too for this year!

I'd also like to thank you so much for your well wishes and your kind and encouraging comments for my work since I've started my blog , it's been fabulous knowing there's many people out there who enjoy my work. Lastly I'd like to welcome my new followers. Thank you so much for being interested in my blog and following me.

This post is based on just one challenge where you have to find one project which you feel is your favourite for the year 2012.

I've had a good look and it's been a hard choice but here is the photo and link to my favourite project for the whole year:

Main view of project:

I like this project due to the fact it was created just from card stock , patterned paper, embellishments and ribbon. I feel it looks so professional and would look great in any bedroom or dressing table to put your secrets in lol or just valuable or costume and precious jewellery. It can be used for many uses and I also love the vintage/shabby chic feel of it.

The challenge this post will be entered into is:

Paper Craft Star Challenge Blog - Favourite project of 2012

Hope you all have a fabulous day and thank you all so much for sticking by me and taking the time to enjoy my work.

Many hugs

Hi Sharon, Firstly, I am so pleased that at last you have got a diagnosis, and hopefully now they can actually do something to help you combat the pain.
Secondly, well done on your little 'windfall', I hope it's the first of many for this year.
Thirdly, your project with the hidden drawers is awesome, I absolutely love it.
Your New Year has started off brilliantly, long may it continue.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Sharon,
so glad you have found out about your hip trouble.
Here's hoping your treatment makes you pain free.
What a superb creation no wonder you chose it. I also like this idea a lot, fab challenge.
I am so happy you have had a windfall too you deserve every bit of luck you can get.
Here's hoping you have many, many, more of them as the year progresses.
