Good morning and welcome to another challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge Blog.
I'm so sorry for not posting much on my Blog for the past few days. I think the Cold has got to me and been feeling under the weather but I'm feeling good now. I also need to take my decorations out of my loft soon and do my Tree. The one thing I hate doing is unravelling the Christmas Tree lights lol.
Id also like to give a big welcome to my new followers! Thank you so much for following my blog!
Our theme this week is "Anything Christmas". Easy really considering that's what most of us has been doing is making Christmas cards lol. So I look forward to seeing your designs in our challenge.
Please remember to put GD after your name when you post your entry if you'd like a chance at becoming our guest designer for a week.
We have two great sponsors who are sponsoring us this week and they are: DigiDarlaDesigns link:
Digi Darla Designs Site
And A day for daisies link: A Day for Daisy's Site
We also have a guest designer who has joined us this week for our challenge, she has created a stunning card. Her name is : Adrienne Crist and you can find her blog here: Paper Diva Scraps Blog. 7
Please hop on over to Tammy's Scrapin Corner Blog to see her stunning Creation.
Now onto my card for this weeks challenge:
The Digi image I used this week is from
Digi Darla Designs from our sponsor and it is called "Carolling Kids" . You can find the image at this site: Digi Darla Designs Store.
Isn't it just adorable and so fitting for this challenge. I coloured the image in with my Pro-Markers and really enjoyed colouring this image.
The Card is and 8 " x 8" Size card. So quite large to my usual cards but I think its worked pretty well with the Digi Stamp and the Embellishments used on the card.
The tutorial for the circle corner folds in all four corners of the card can be found here by my fellow DT on Tammy's Scrapin Corner , her name is Desire and she has some fab tutorials and great cards on her blog called "Doing Life" Doing Life : Folding Circles Tutorial
The tutorial for the frame around the digi image (Carolling Kids) can also be found on this site:
Frame Tutorial
Materials used:
Hunkydory Card Stock for Base of card. Two A4 pieces of card glued together and cut of the excess to make the 8x8 card.
The Folded Circles Embellishments was made using normal card stock , Cutting them with my Spellbinders Die and then followed the Tutorial.
The frame was made by using Patterned Card stock.
Lace was used around the frame attached to the back. Lace came from my stash
Three die cut gold, red and white rose buds already die cut and then just using a quilling tool wrapping it around the tool and then releasing to make the Buds.
Two different kinds of patterned borders used for the top and bottom
Patterned paper used for the inside of the frame, then an already die cut frame to go around the Digi Stamp for inside the Frame
Blue organza Bow and Sentiment from my Stash.
Inside of the card was a Sentiment from a Christmas HunkyDory Cut and a Christmas Poem from my Computer Die cutted and Distressed around with Blue Ink.

Sharon, Just want to let you know that there is something strange going on with your blog. I don't know if it's a Blogger problem or something else, but everything in your background is huge and also out of focus. I had to click on three different links to finally get to this post of yours. OK, now let me put on another of my DT hats. :-D So glad you joined in the "Use a Digi" challenge at Avadares this month. I love this card of yours and your coloring is wonderful. :-D
