Digi Stamps 4 Joy. Challenge #47. DT Post

Another top of the Evening to you all!

Well I don't know about you but I've not stopped. Seems like I've no time to do anything recently. Days are going so quick and my head feels like a bomb waiting to go off lol! The only crafting I'm doing is for DT at the moment so I really apologise for the lack of comments on your blogs and also lack of posts on my blog. After Christmas everything will be back to normal lol. I hope you are all excited and well, waiting for Father Christmas to join us not so far away now. Lol.

Thank you all so much for your time and effort in commenting on my blog and visiting , I really appreciate it especially at this time of year! I'd also like to welcome a few new followers to my blog. Thank you and it's lovely to know you like my work. I will get round to following you too and visiting your blog. Please just bear with me during this busy period of the year.

So onto the card for our new challenge at Digi Stamps 4 Joy Blog. This challenge is for 3 weeks which gives us DT's a nice little break. The theme is "Theres something Magical About Christmas!

Please join in with us we all love seeing your stunning creations. Please also visit the store where there are fabulous DiGi Stamps at affordable prices. Link: Digi Stamps 4 Joy Shop

Materials used for my card:

Fireplace Christmas DiGi stamp from Digi Stamps 4 Joy store
Pro Markers used to colour the whole image in.
Card Stock for base of the 8 x 8 card from Hunkydory
Die cuts used on the card are from Spellbinders dies, Joy Crafts and X Cut Dies.
Sentiments, lace , die cut red and white Rose Buds from my stash.
Frame around the image was created by Gold textured card and Christmas patterned card Stock.

Close up:

Another View:

I made the frame myself by measuring the length and width of the image.
Taking 4 strips of card making sure each one is 2 inches wide and then scoring on every half inch. Make sure the strips measure the same as the image that you want framed length ways so it fits correctly around it.
Fold and crease score lines on each one then stick the ends together using whatever glue you fancy. If you measure the strips slightly bigger than 2 inches width whys you will have a flap to stick the ends together. When they are all done just place around the image using glue.

Sharon this card is stupendous! You have created such an incredible Christmas scene, it makes you feel like you could just sit back and relax in front of that fire. It is a feast for the eyes, with lots of details, but not so much as to overpower the image.
