Good evening fellow bloggers.
Firstly thank you all for your comments and time in viewing my blog. I truly appreciate every single viewing and comment. You have all inspired me so much and making my blog has kept me busy and an incentive to keep crafting. It's nice to have others view your work and comment on it.
Today's project is based on a tutorial I found on the splitcoasters website. The site is truly amazing and there is so much inspiration there. The project I made today is called a "treat box" but I see it as a holder for bits and bobs like your crafting bits etc. I doubt I'd use it though as its too pretty to use or you could put some photos in there and give it to a friend or family member as a keepsake. There's many possibilities. The tutorial can be found here : Treat box tutorial .
I made up the box/storage holder and used my Almanac paper pad to decorate it with. I find these papers just stunning and can't get enough of them. I used my X Cut paper punch around the edges . The image is from a flower faerie stamp that I had coloured months ago and was just waiting for me in my stash to use lol. I coloured her in using my pro markers. I then cut her out and matted onto some patterned paper die cut using spellbinders labels die. I finished if by decorating with my flower gems from create and craft, ribbon flowers, blue organza ribbon ,gold corner peel offs, die cut flowers, sentiment and iridescent gems.
The tags were from my stash which I thread ribbon through and used a flower on one. The photo is of my youngest son when he was 6 mths old.

it's beautiful Sharon, love all the detail and colours :) I know what you mean about not wanting to use things that are so beautiful after you make them, I even have that problem with some papers, I don't want to cut them or cover them up with pics and stuff, so here they sit in my drawers of paper never to be seen and loved, lol
