Good evening fellow friends .
Firstly I must apologise for my absence. I have been very unwell and had to call the doctor out Friday as I was in so much pain with my head and neck. I've never felt pain like it and was sick and in shock with it. I was given diazepam as it was a bad muscle spasm in my neck and strong pain killers so today is the only day I feel a little bit better. Sorry for not posting . I also spent my birthday in bed yesterday so not at all a good weekend lol.
I did manage to make a card , quick and simple done on a blank A5 scalloped card. The image of the very beautiful fairy was matted and layered onto some silver holographic card. I cut some sky blue paper and matted onto the card blank. Cut two different sized border strips for both the top and bottom of the card and used different ribbon to stick on top of each border then placed onto the card blank. I then stuck the topper to the right of the card. I cut some random flowers out of some patterned paper and placed over the bottom border. I finished of with some ribbon wrapped round the inside of the card and then tied round to the front and tied a bow. Used gems and a sentiment .
A simple but lovely card but it was all I could do as its all I could manage today lol.
My favourite style of card is distressed and vintage but my favourite colour is red as you could tell on this card.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges please:

Oh Sharon. I'm so sorry to hear you have been unwell. Such a shame that you were unable to enjoy your birthday.
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous. I love the image and the red ribbon.
I hope you are feeling loads better soon
Hugs Sue
Oh poor you!! I hope you are feeling much better now. However, just a little word of warning - don't spend too much time bent over your craft table just yet because that can put a strain on your neck and shoulder muscles and you don't want any more aches and pains. This is a lovely card and the red makes it pop. Love from Christine x
