A stitch in time saves nine

Afternoon bloggers. Hope your weekend is of to a fab start.

As you can tell I love distressed and vintage cards. This one is both. I love making cards look distressed by ripping and distressing it with inks.

This card was an A4 blank scored in half to make an A5 card. I distressed some patterned paper with my inks and matted onto mirrored card.

I have a corset stamp which I stamped onto distressed patterned paper and cut out. I distressed a white doily with my favourite aged photo distress ink and folded it into quarters and placed under the corset to create a skirt. The dress stand was on some paper which I cut out and again matted onto silver mirrored card. A few buttons I stuck on the topper which is just ideal for the theme. I glued the corset and skirt onto the dress stand and glued on the card.

Cut a border strip , a sentiment which I Iove the saying "A stitch in time saves nine", a flower which I cut down each petal and manipulated to create dimension and a small flower. Glued onto the card and finished of with four iridescent gems in the middle of the flower.

A simple card but effective.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
